Robert Bonomo is an Argentine director, producer and screenwriter based in the city of Buenos Aires.He is internationally recognized for his unique and original style in working with actors, real comedy and his visual aesthetic treatment his work has often been imitated but he is the true original.
His eclectic audiovisual work includes TV commercials, video clips, experimental pieces, short films, documentaries and films.
Between 2000 and 2023 he made hundreds of commercials for Argentina, the United States, Spain, Mexico and Latin America, many of these have received numerous international awards. in Cannes, San Sebastian Festival, Caribe & Puerto Rico Festive, FIAP, CLIO and several others.
He has also directed more than 50 video clips for renowned Latin American bands such as Illya Kuriaki, Juana Molina, Hilda Lizarazu, Las Pelotas, Diego Frenkel, Antonio Birabent, Emmanuel Horvilleur, Axel Krygier, Lucas Marti, among others.
Roberto has been focusing his energy in developing his film career and “Miss” is his first fiction feature film. It premiered at Bafici and participated in various national and international festivals. The film was nominated for Best First Work, New Actor and Original Music at the Cóndor de Plata Awards.
Currently he is working on his second feature “Movie Star” which will be out soon.
